Grace School must reopen for its students by early February. Unless we act now, these families—already traumatized by war—will be forced back into the elements.
A local chief has generously donated land for permanent resettlement. To ensure these families never lose their homes to fire again, we are building durable, iron-roofed homes instead of traditional grass thatch.
These corrugated roofs provide better protection against the elements and offer a permanent, fire-resistant solution for the future.
We are raising £99,000 to build 495 homes. While work has begun for the first 11 families, 484 families are still waiting.
